As Salam Alaykum! * Welcome *

Welcome to Salam Sprouts!

We play, we pray, we paint, we glue —

we learn small things with hearts so true.

We jump in joy, we read, we sing —

and thank Allah for everything!

Salam from Nima

As-salāmu ʿalaykum! I’m Fatimah, otherwise known as Nima — a mum and passionate student of the deen.

My journey into Islamic studies began way back in elementary school, and I’ve gratefully continued this path into adulthood — most recently through an inspiring online Islamic college based in sunny Sydney, Australia. I’m currently polishing my Arabic with native-speaking teachers, and in shā Allāh, I hope to gradually bring this into our learning at Salam Sprouts!

After high school, I jumped straight into early childhood education, where I had the privilege of working with children from all walks of life — from little ones as young as 18 months to energetic 12-year-olds for over six years.

Later, I pursued my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian and dove into my Animal Science studies in the beautiful landscapes of South Australia. During the pandemic in 2020, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at a wildlife hospital in Western Australia — an experience that deeply enriched my love for nurturing and strengthened my appreciation for caring for all of Allah’s creation.

Our Services

At Salam Sprouts, we’re more than a playgroup — we’re a community of families growing in faith, one sprout at a time.

Here we follow each child’s pace in a space filled with love, kindness, and joy, rooted in the essence of Islam. We learn about Allah, His prophets, daily practices and good character through stories, nasheeds, and play.

  • Not currently available — but we’re gauging interest! If weekends suit your family best, let us know in the WhatsApp poll or drop us a message.

  • Every Saturday

    Duration: 1 hour

    Trial class: RM20

    Monthly rate: RM200 per child

Each session is planned with care and consistency. Teacher Nima creates most of the activity materials herself — using a Cricut and inspiration from books, Islamic themes, and hands-on learning ideas. Everything is designed to support the monthly theme and to give the children a sense of rhythm and familiarity.

  • Our sessions are designed for toddlers and preschoolers aged 2 to 4 years. Mixed-age groups are welcome — we believe children learn so much from each other through cooperative and parallel play.
